Imagine your have a mortgage and the note states you have 30yrs to pay it off. You reach the 29th year and boom you lost your job. Unemployment checks couldn't cover the mortgage so you ask family and friends to help out but they can only do so much. As time move forward you start getting notices in the mail from your lender stating if you don't pay you will be forced out of your home that you paid the last 29th years for. What do you do in a case like that/ You have family memories, history and have one more year to pay off your loan. No one want to help you because in the past they told you not to buy the house in the first place...what should you do?
This is where you viewers come in and help out others that are currently in this case. I would say call the bank directly and say you lost your job and your finances have change. Hopefully they will listen, most do and a majority don't. I have a relative that lost two homes due to not communicating to the lender trust me its not a good sight seeing your own home lock up or chain up. As for me I had to call my lender once and let them know if I'm able to apply for a modification trust me its better than loosing your home. Especially if you already invested 29yrs thus far. Viewers what would you do in a case like this ?
